Wedding Photography and Civil Ceremonies

"The album is fabulous and we’re thrilled to bits with it."

There are sample flash movies on this page which, depending on your broadband connection, may take a while to load. If too slow, it may be easier to view examples in the Image Library.

Prints - Image Quality
I take a lot of pride in the quality of the images I produce. I always review the location before the event and wherever possible will make use of natural lighting to capture the genuine atmosphere rather than rely totally on flash photography. Before you see the results each image will be individually edited to improve composition and to digitally enhance image quality. Typically, in group shots at least one person will blink or look the wrong way. As I generally take two or three shots for every posed group, I will digitally combine 2 or more images so that everyone looks their best. You can see a short slideshow on the right which illustrates these and other editing techniques. There is no extra charge for this service.

Photo Montage, Canvas Prints
A novel idea for your prints is to create a montage of your favourite images on one print. You select the images and I will give you some layout options (see example on right). Price varies according to complexity and number of images but is not very expensive. Ask for a quote.
Canvas prints are also a great way to display a special image and you don't have to pay extra for a heavy, breakable glass frame.

Slideshows and AV Presentations (no need to hire a videographer) - £30 or £50
I can convert your the still images into an automated slideshow with zoom, pan and transition effects that make it almost like watching a movie. This makes a great souvenir of the highlights of the event and a fabulous gift for your relatives or friends. You can include all shots taken or just select your favourite images. With the £50 version you can also captions and add an soundtrack with music of your choice. Duplicate DVD/CDs £5 per copy. Different versions available for PC or TV DVD player.

Traditional Wedding Albums (free advice with no obligation to buy)
Albums are a very personal choice and you may well have been given one as a present, so why should you have buy an album you may not need or like as part of a package? I can advise on the various types of albums available which you can order through me or direct from the supplier. I am not tied to any supplier so I can offer impartial advice to help you choose the right one to suit your taste and budget. Two examples of suppliers I use quite often are: Casanova and Memory Collections

Storybook Wedding Albums from £250
These are becoming increasingly popular and make a very attractive alternative to the traditional wedding album. They offer more creative options in terms of layout and design and how the images relate to each other. You can also include some photos taken by your guests or even on your honeymoon. In association with Graphistudio and Sim2000 I can offer a superb range of hand-bound Coffee Table Books printed on a choice of photographic, textured or metal paper. There are a wide variety of layout styles, sizes and covers and and you can have identical copies of your 'Wedding Book' made into smaller ‘parent’ or ‘guest’ books at very affordable prices.

These books must be seen to be fully appreciates, so if you are able to visit my studio near Bedford please call me on 01234 823081 to make a viewing appointment or to discuss the options available. Meanwhile click here to see some examples of page layouts.
